How to Turn on the PC

  • The PC is located behind the Smart Board on the ‘Right’ side of the Board illustrated by the Red Arrow.

  • Press the ‘Power On’ button illustrated in the Red Circle.

  • Once pressed this should power the PC on and the ‘Power On’ button will turn ‘Blue’ as illustrated in the Red Circle.

  • If the Smart Board still looks like this then this means the PC has not been turned on at the back of the board on the Right side.

How to Turn the Smart Board On (if it is not already turned on)

  • On the Bottom Right side of the Smart Board are a selection of buttons.

  • The Roca Switch will allow you to turn Power on and off from the board.

  • The other selection of buttons are for; turning the board on, turning volume down and turning volume up.

  • We advise to only use the Power Button and/or Roca Switch if the Smart Board is not turning on or your Remote Control is not working.

  • If the Roca Switch is Turned On and the Power Button on the Bottom Right side of the Smart Board is ‘Red’ then please press the ‘Red Power’ button on your Remote Control.

  • Alternatively you can press the ‘Power On’ button on the Bottom Right side of the Smart Board.

  • Once you have pressed the ‘Power On’ button on either the Remote or on the Bottom Right side of the Smart Board the screen should turn on.

How to Show the PC Screen via the Board

  • If the Smart Board is showing like this, then that means the Board is not properly linked to the PC.

  • To solve this problem please press the ‘Menu’ button Once on the Remote.

  • If you do not have a remote control please contact IT Support.

  • Once you have pressed the ‘Menu’ button on the remote control the ‘General Setting’ options should appear.

  • Please use the ‘Left’ arrow on the remote control to navigate to the Organe ‘PC’ option in the ‘General Setting’.

  • The Smart Board should then look like the image to the left, showing that the PC is connected to the board.

How to Fix Monitor to PC Connection

  • If the PC Monitor is showing this message saying “No Signal Input Check Video Cable” this is a problem between the Monitor to PC Connection.

  • Please check the back of the Smart Board on the ‘Right side’ to find the ‘HDMI Extender’.

  • If the ‘HDMI Extender’ ‘Link’ is RED, as illustrated via the Red Circle.

  • This could be a problem, please follow the following steps to solve this.

Step 1

  • Firstly, try unplugging and plugging back in the ‘5V /1A Cable’ illustrated by the Red Line.

  • If this does not work, then try unplugging and plugging back in the ‘HDMI-In Cable’ illustrated by the Green circle.

  • To know if Step 1 worked, the ‘HDMI Extender’ ‘Link’ should now be ‘BLUE’ and there should be a picture coming through on the PC Monitor.

  • If the steps in Step 1 did not work then try unplugging and plugging back in the ‘HDMI Cable’ in the back of the Monitor, illustrated by the Red Line.

  • When plugging the ‘HDMI Cable’ back into the Monitor it should look like the Bottom picture on the Right illustrated via the Red Arrow and Green Tick.

  • If the following steps have worked then the PC Monitor should look like the image on the left.

If any of these steps have not worked then please contact IT Support.
